What a fun-filled Read Across America Week! Author Alysson Foti Bourque and Alycat visited to preview the last book in the Alycat series. Mystery Readers shared favorite stories, including some in French. Librarian Claire Alvarado hosted book tastings in the library, where students took turns sampling books in different genres, then voted for their favorites. On Monday, inspired by Dr. Seuss' Fox in Socks, students wore crazy socks and brought clean, new socks to donate to those in need at a local homeless shelter. And on Friday, students and teachers dressed up as favorite book characters!
