College Counseling

The placement of students into appropriate universities and colleges is a primary mission of ESA. We take great pride in the amount of personal attention each student receives while planning for his or her future education. Assisting the student to identify and evaluate personal needs, interests, and desires and honestly assess academic ability and performance so that the student may identify the schools that are the best match.

The college counseling office provides a supportive environment to help students and families make informed choices by assisting them in self-reflection, providing resource material, offering counsel and assisting in the physical submission of applications. It is the student’s responsibility to take the initiative in the college search and admission process. It is the duty of the college counseling office to make sure that students and their families enter the admission process with a full understanding of its importance and complexity. Students and their families decide to which colleges and universities applications will be submitted and ultimately which college to attend, but these decisions must be made after judicious study of the best information available.

An ESA education is an investment in your child’s future. 100% of every graduating class is accepted to a four-year college or university, and, annually, over 80% of a graduating class is offered merit aid from colleges and universities around the country and the world. Just as importantly, ESA students succeed intellectually, socially and personally at the colleges and universities they choose.
