Ethan Defelice, '26

Ethan joined the Falcon family as a sixth grader. Along with playing on the ESA Baseball team, he's a huge fan of basketball, soccer, and volleyball. Outside of school, he spends time outdoors in some of his favorite south Louisiana places. Ethan appreciates the freedom of free periods at ESA.

Here's our Q&A with Ethan:

What makes ESA a unique school to attend?

Lots of freedom because we are allowed to have free periods

Who has inspired you as a learner?

Mr Mike Jannise on our maintenance staff because he works behind the scenes and is always doing the hard work and the stuff that needs to be done with little recognition.

What has been your most challenging moment at ESA?  And how did you overcome it?

Dealing with Coach Mark Broussard. If you play baseball for him, you know what I am talking about. But seriously, ESA Baseball with Coach Mark is one of my favorite things.

If you had a month to study anything in the world, what would you be passionate about learning?

The history of local Louisiana areas

Thanks, Ethan!
