Sharing Culture
The Food Around the World enrichment cluster invited senior Zoya Subramanian to cook with them this week. Zoya showed the third through fifth graders how to make a paneer dish with onions, peppers, turmeric, coriander, and other spices. So far this semester, the cluster has sampled Venezuelan cuisine by making arepas and Italian cuisine through homemade pasta. They have plans to learn about French cuisine, and hope to explore Greek, Lebanese, Japanese, and Ethiopian cuisine as well.
