Coach Miguel Vasquez

Coach Miguel Vasquez brought a depth of competitive swimming experience when he joined the ESA coaching staff in 2024. Coach Coach Vasquez received a bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics while swimming for Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana. He earned All-Conference honors and was named Athlete of the Year for the school. He also attended the University of Delaware, where he continued to swim competitively and earned a degree in mechanical engineering.

Coach Vasquez is a member of the Guatemalan Swimming Federation. He swam in the Guatemalan National Championships in 2024, where he earned several medals and broke national records.
