Athletics

Experience Team

Participation drives ESA’s athletic program. Nearly 80 percent of our students play sports, and many join more than one team. Students who have never played a sport are welcomed and encouraged to become part of a team, develop skills, build confidence, and share in the hard work and the victories. ESA consistently has one of the most successful athletic programs in our division.

Sidney Hebert Athletes of the Year

The highest award an athlete at ESA can receive is the Sidney Hebert Award in honor of the late Mr. Hebert, who was a neighbor, friend, protector and plant manager of the school from the day we moved to Cade in 1980. The winners of this award must participate in at least two varsity sports and exemplify excellence on the playing field as well as leadership on the team.
