Micah Nicholas, '13, (here with cousin Jaylen Nora, '18), shared his story in chapel. Micah attended Sewanee, where he majored in psychology. He came to ESA for a summer program he heard about through the Boys and Girls Club of New Iberia, and enrolled as a freshman in the fall. Now Micah serves as Executive Director of that same Boys and Girls Club. At ESA, he learned to push himself when things aren't easy. "ESA teaches you to be comfortable with being uncomfortable," he says.
