Senior Trip
Art, history, language, literature, science, architecture, theatre, culture - The ESA Experience comes to life in England and France on the Senior Trip. Since the school’s early days, senior classes have traveled to Europe for the ultimate immersion lesson as they see, hear and explore so many of the places and events they studied throughout their years at ESA.
Each year, the trip is a little different, as students choose where they spend their free time. One year, a group of students and teachers visited the Globe Theatre, where as part of the audience they actively participated in a performance of As You Like It. Another group took in a soccer match at Wembley Stadium. And Comic Con always draws a handful of students. In recent years, the entire travel group has visited Normandy, then taken a ferry to England and explored Stonehenge before moving on to London.
I am so lucky that I got the chance to travel at this point in my life. It was an amazing experience and I can’t imagine sharing it with any other group.
