Wyoming
ESA’s fifth graders serve as student researchers at the Teton Science Schools in Kelly, Wyoming in May. The students and teachers spend the week hiking, snow-shoeing and exploring the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystems. They have tracked large ungulates wildlife, learned about radio telemetry, collected macro invertebrates, created an insect museum, identified 20+ species of birds, visited the historical museum, and learned about the meaning of stewardship through service projects.
