LDWF Science

Agents from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries hosted ESA environment science students at Spanish Lake last Friday. The biologists explained why it is important to use scientific data to monitor the health of local waterways, regulate species populations, and observe the impact of harmful invasive species. Students participated in fish dissection to learn fish anatomy, compare fish to other animals, and study the reproductive adaptations of different species.
