Bella Rutherford, '26

A Falcon since freshman year, Bella says ESA is a very special place for fostering community and valuable relationships. She's involved in cheer, cross country, and tennis, as well as art courses and clubs. Bella lives in Lafayette, and she serves as secretary on Student Council this year.

Here's our Q&A with Bella:

What makes ESA a unique school to attend?
ESA's sense of community and student involvement makes it a unique place to attend.

Who has inspired you as a learner?
My past and current teachers inspire me as a learner to better push myself. Overall, the faculty and staff at ESA focus on helping you become excellent both inside of school and out.

What has been your most challenging moment at ESA?
My most challenging moment at ESA was my whole sophomore year. I think I learned a lot overall and even though I had challenging times, I also had a lot of really good moments that helped me learn and grow.

If you had a month to study anything in the world, what would you be passionate about learning?
If I had a month to study anything in the world, I would probably study psychology and human behavior of criminals and murderers.

Thanks, Bella!
